Using triolian technology of 'brain-wave control system' as per the ZBR-10 Mk I Bioroid Interceptor.
The only issue IMO regarding such implementation is a skill requirement...
Maybe something along MECT as well as a Piolt Related Skill requirement of Advanced Brain-wave Contol System (that could give a slight bonus to a mecha using basic BW control system)
thoughts?? I think it's reasonable...

Reasonable....to a degree. The vast majority of pilots would have trouble switching to this type a system. They'd have to sort of unlearn what they have already learned. NOt to mention that if they do it for this mecha they should do it for all them at that point

Disagree...
Require an MECT skill as a pre-requisite for the Mecha along with Pilot Related: Brain Wave Control Specialization (skill)
this will redress the training issues ... So without these two skills (at the minimum) the mecha CAN NOT be piloted solo!
And per MECT rule in RT:TSC and specifics involved in combinig three stations into one I don't think there is any relevance to other mecha given they are ALL solo piloting mecha anyway...
Hopefully you and I can flesh out this concept seeing it has merit to start and the control system is canon assecible to UEEF pilots in RT:TSC.
Thoughts on this compromise?

Oh as I said it IS feasible. But the whole brain wave concept woudl adn shoudl be applicable to all mecha and not just one as the already solo piloted mecha could and shoudl benefit fro it even MORE than teh multi crewed mecha would. Enhanced response time inititive etc ala the Brain Direct System of Macross Plus.

SO while I see it as possible I woudln;t go so far as to see it as something that was standard.....YET. It coudl be used as an alternative in a prototype/testing capacity for starters and in special units that want to keep the personnel to a minimum but it wouoldn;t be mainstream so to speak. Again not yet anyway. Maybe aseveral years post TSC.

I can absolutely handle that... Prototype BW system not authorized for standard use... So it exists but would be a GM discretion to bring into a scenario but not something a player could have on hand in advance...
Yeah I like it - allow it but give the GMs tge lock and key for it...

Thought you might since it'll allow it when desired and allowed but not make it in everything.

Yeah and it allows the GM to inhibit 'Munchkins' that want to com e into a scenario and just flex their egos... Yeah it's a very good compromise!!!
Though we now should come up with a resolution to the arm cannons - check my posting on the vb-6 stat thread...
