I am here to say that I liked it, allothers reviews complaints and whining be damned. It was as good as hte first and I really liked that open too.....the effects were excellent, the story made sense and tied to the first very well........all you people who whined about the first and are whining now........get overit this is the new transformers not the 80's cartoon so suck it up and move on.

The things I did not like about these Bay movies were:
The action happened too fast The robot designs were just a bit too much Those two twins were annoying as hell Shia Lebouf's Spike Whitwicky For the love of... look I know canon wise Optimus dies (a few times in the comics actually), but does he really have to die in every friggin medium? The cube only creating malevolent critters... why in the hell would the autobots want the allspark then? If it created critters based on the controller then I can see why, build an army.
And yes, the whole these are not the ones from the 80's, but that is the reason I watched them.
I did like the interactions between Bee and Spike. That was really good. Starscream as always just steals the show. Devastator was just neat in concept and application. The protoforms was also a neat idea.
